ANCHOR ADVISOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
The award recognizes an Anchor Advisor who has worked with the Anchor Club to promote
community service and the ABC's of Pilot.

The award is given to the Anchor Club that shows quality and excellence in club and international projects including fundraising and hands on service, club leadership and operations, Pilot Club or other sponsored involvement, community visibility in recognition of the club and activities and leadership development for club members.

The Pilot International Executive Committee has established a grant to aid Anchor and Compass members in leadership development by attending leadership conferences and other training. This grant is awarded through the Goals for Grants and Awards program of Pilot International Founders Fund.

This award honors Ruby Newhall, Past Pilot International President, who initiated the Anchor Club program.
It recognizes an Anchor who does an exemplary job of serving others.

It also aims to promote ways to engage youth in becoming more actively involved in making positive contributions to their communities. Our Essay Contest give Anchors the opportunity to express themselves in various areas of youth and society.
